Once a year we go to Grandma Great's condo in Park City...and we always have a blast!

It happened to be a cold day, so we couldn't swim in the pool...but that didn't stop us from having fun in the hot tub!

There were no high chairs for kennedy to eat in, so we had to improvise.

And at the end of the day, we are always tuckered out!

Our favorite was the baby elephant, Zuri! She has the same birthday as Kennedy...well, almost. (They are one day apart). As soon as mom put away the camera the mommy elephant, um, "did her business", and Zuri started to roll in it! It was so funny!

Kennedy loved all the "big kitties". can you blame her?

it was a very hot day, and kennedy can tell you all about it.

oh, no! don't bite my head off!

i could totally be in a gorilla family!

we played in the adventure park with all the critters!

we even got to feed the ducks! kennedy wanted to go swimming i think.

we took a trip to utah lake, and could walk super far out in the water and still stand! even kennedy liked the dirt!

we went to the lehi horse parade with grandma shell! everyone shows off their fancy horses the weekend of the rodeo. there were big horses, and small horses, a dragon horse, and even a pink horse! they threw us treats and we got cotton candy! it was lots of fun! (and we didn't even plan our outfits to match!)

we got to go to a little carnival right by out house!

they had all sorts of fun bouncy houses...

..but my "fravorite" one was the spider man one!

kennedy had fun too, i guess!

i got to play in a "hammer" kind of like daddy's!

and i got a bug painted on my face!

they had a "for real" firetruck that you could see, and later they sprayed everyone with the water hose!

even though it looked REALLY fun, i just couldn't manage to get wet!

kennedy pretty much had the same reaction!

mom found a dinosaur egg! ok, not really. but she did bring home a really big ostrich egg! it made sooo many yummy eggs, it was crazy!

the ship was soooo huge! every floor had something different and exciting! their room was made up twice a day, and they got a new, and special towel animal every night!

they got to do fun things every day, and go to lots of fun places!

dinner time was one of their favorites! they had the coolest maitre d', wonderful waiters, and the most awesome dinner friends, (who became their friends for the remainder of the trip)! they sat at a primo spot by the window, and got to get all dressed up fancy! not to mention they always meet famous people...like this guy who sat right near their table! (ok, it's not the real Borat, but it sure looks like him)

they did lots of fun things with their new friends, like hang out on the ship (where daddy played dodge ball like a pro, he was a super-dodger...especially when he was hiding!) and snorkeling in a remote place in roatan!

we still can't figure how she got her leg out in the first place!

when we woke up today, we had old faithful bursting up the side of our house! (not the real one). the city had turned on the pressurized irrigation, and it made a pipe break. but it was soo much fun! it made rainbows and i got to play in the water until daddy and grandpa fixed it!

my pal, kennedy. mom finds me with kennedy alot, and i am "playing" with her. i like her to "chill" with me, and build her houses!

i woke up this morning, earlier then usual, and happened to notice some eggs hiding in the couch! the easter bunny came!

i ran and woke mom up, and told her, "he hid thems eggs in my couch!" so we went down and i got to find all the eggs filled with candy, and all the eggs we dyed and left out for the easter bunny. he also hid a basket full of fun stuff for me, and one for mom and dad!

kennedy just sat around and watched and drooled. (i think she wanted some candy maybe)

after finding all the eggs, and going through my basket, i got to pick an egg to eat for breakfast! i carefully picked one out, cracked and peeled it, and took a big bite! (apparently it was a little too big, and i underestimated the dryness of the yolk!)

"kenne-dee-ee, you're the one! you make bath time so much fun!" i love to take baths with my sister now!

here is a list of some of my favorites right now: my sister kennedy, the "cat cat" show (tom and jerry), the "naughty lion" show (pink panther), my super hero underwear (because i'm all potty trained now!), my role models cannon and teigan (mom is a little nervous), the color pink (don't judge), guns (especially my "longer gun" that tieg and cannon gave me), getting myself dressed, chicken nuggets, and going to primary!

mom calls it a growth spurt, but for some reason i can never seem to get enough food!

did i finish it, you ask? definately, and i asked for more! yesterday for lunch i ate 5 chicken nuggets, 5 strawberries, a handful of chips, a big pretzel rod, and then a whole orange! mom can't figure out where it's all going! daddy warned me that girls talk too much, but i didn't know it started this soon!

there was so much to see! i was entranced the whole time, and kennedy was pretty much unimpressed!

do you see what i see? out of this whole exhibit i somehow spotted the tiny digger! (and grandma's mouth got a little smudged, i think she must have said a naughty word! j/k)

the harry potter exhibit was really detailed, even down to the quidditch field and the carraiges arriving for the first day of school!

one of our favorites was the lego exhibit where EVERYTHING was made from legos!

this was a rendition of lagoon amusement park, the carosel actually went up and down!

batman, eat your heart out! i picked this cape out when we were in mexico!

driving along i found this butterfly just sitting on the carpet...i got to hold it! i also found a bee. but i didn't realize that posed a problem, and it poked me. (don't worry, i only screamed bloody murder for about twenty min...in a small enclosed motorhome).

this is how we spent most mornings, i got in the habit of waking up at about 6:30 am, but i guess none of the adults wanted to get up with me!

this is where i got to sleep! i was high above everyone else, like a bunk bed!

daddy had a little episode...he wasn't supposed to take his medicine without food, but he didn't listen

spending pretty much every day at the beach was awesome! how many people do you know who were playing in the sand on christmas day!?

my first true experience at the ocean. i thought i was the only person out there. and after running half way to panama, i realized the beach was a bit bigger than i realized!

it's always a fun time to get out Bruce and take him for a swim!

even kennedy enjoyed her time in at the beach!

dad and grandpa spent all day, every day out boogie boarding. they say i went for rides last time, but i didn't buy it.

the last day on the beach held a fun suprise for the kids! the water was way far out, but left the sand wet right up to the beach. it was fun to dig in the sand and make puddles!

a trip to stone island is always in order! pretty much only the locals go there, so it's always a relaxing day!

after a short boat ride, we arrived just in time to hold a big lizard! (well, i was too scared, but mom helped).

the water here is much calmer, and after recent scares with the waves, i was anxious but nervous to enter the water.

the water is also very clear, you can look right down in the water and see the fish! dad went out to snorkel, but returned quickly after he was stung by a jellyfish! he had welts wrapping all down his arm! needless to say, mom had no intention of snorkeling after that.

i became very concerned when my string came untied on my swimsuit! but dad came to my rescue.

personal dancing horses!

every night was like a fiesta in our rv park! because it's right on the beach, there were lots of weddings, and parties. but my favorite part was the horses! the owners of the park also owned these horses that would dance when music was played! the riders would wiggle their hips, and they would dance! one time when another horse was performing, we saw the other horse over dancing by himself! it was a class act!

most years we bring down toys and clothes to split between the orphanage and the church. we took a trip to drop it off to the orphans.

after a quick look around, we were able to go outside and meet the kids!

once the kids saw kennedy, they couldn't stop touching her!

they loved her tiny hands, and wanted to know if she had teeth. :)

after i got bored, i discovered some chickens, and lots of baby chicks! but try as i might...i couldn't catch any!

we took a day to drive out to some petroglyphs. we had never been there, but after communicating with some locals, we found the spot!

when we got there, all we saw were these huts, and a "museum". we were upset because we thought there would be real petroglyphs. someone suggested we walk down to the beach and look around.

we walked out to the beach, and there were just all these rocks. we were skeptical about all this, but as we hiked around, we found lots of engravings with different amounts of wear, depending on where the tide came up...plus a few extra suprises as well!

after looking around, we were free to spend the afternoon doing what ever we wanted. daddy went for a walk on the beach with some friends...this is how i spent my time.

always leaving me...this time on a zip line tour! but i stayed home with grandma great, grandpa mike, and kennedy. we had our own fun!

first was a trip to a small town where they stopped and bought empenadas from a lady who baked them in a clay oven. daddy got caramel, and mom got cheese. they were to die for!

they drove through lots of small towns along the way...very charming!

this church was built by the french, and has bodies buried underneath it!

next was a trip to a leather "factory". they had you pick leaves off the lemon tree and hold them to your nose if you were sensiteive to smell...you definately needed it!

the grand finale!

daddy had a vision...he was flying like superman with the harness flipped around backwards...these are the results.

thank goodness santa knew where to find us, christmas day was riot!

christmas eve we set out the stockings for santa...

...and in the morning the were filled up!

kennedy was happy as could be when mom let her hold a candy cane...but she didn't even get to have a taste, poor girl.

santa bought me a nerf gun! it was so awesome i had to start playing with it right away!

for lunch we have a tradition of having a potluck with everyone in the rv park, and the missionaries come too! i guess kennedy and i wouldn't know...we slept through the whole thing! mom said it was real nice.

trips into town were always an adventure! here are a few of our escapades!

the central market is nothing like the grocery store at home! it has all sorts of strange things to eat, but lots of yummy fruits and veggies! this is also where we get the best tacos in the world!

SEASHELL CITY! there is lots of fun stuff to see here! everything is made out of shells, or something taken from the ocean!

it is sooo cool in here!

senor frogs is a popular tourist outlet. mom says if she wants to pay those kinds of prices, she'd go back to utah!

there was a girl with her dad riding in a new car she got for christmas. i wanted a ride, so i said "hola, chica!" but grandpa said that wasn't nice, and to call her "nina" instead. either way, it worked. her dad made her stop, but she wasn't very thrilled to give me a lift!

we have a tradition after church of stopping to watch the cliff divers! they jump from so far up, and have to be careful to not not hit the rocks at the bottom!

we made one more important stop, in hermosillo. they have a temple there we got to visit! it was so pretty!

there we were, having a nice, quiet, sherman family christmas party...when there was a knock at the door! who could it be? IT WAS SANTA...at MY house! dad and grandma helped him empty his bags of all the wonderful toys and shared them with all the kids. what a night!

all the boys got a game that you "control with your mind"...i'm not sure i got the point. (i am working on using my nice voice)

once we finally got kennedy home, we had to make lots of trips to the hospital and get her foot poked. the results: some SUPER COOL shades, and a nice warm bed of lights to sleep in.

it's GO time! mom and dad woke me up real early in the morning and took me to aunt bethany's. they said my baby was ready to come out of mom's belly!

they gave mommy some medicine right when she got to the hospital. and even though it didn't work very well with me, it worked GREAT this time. mommy was SO happy!

my baby sister started to have a hard time in mommy's belly. whenever mom had a contraction, the baby's heartbeat would drop real low. they decided it was time for her to came out.

she had the cord wrapped around her neck a couple of times, really tight. when she came out they had to work on her for a long time. she wasn't breathing and had alot of blood in her belly. but then she was all better, and mommy got to hold her!

her first bath, only daddy got to help.

daddy got her all dressed...and she was ready to come to our house to live!

mommy and daddy told me that mommy has a baby growing in her belly! they say that i will have a new baby sister in a while when she is done growing! i have no idea what this all means...but they seem very excited, so maybe it's a good thing. we'll see.

i always find the best seat in the house. some say, that is debatable. :)
